SPINAL CORRECTION
Proper spinal correction requires appropriate patient placement, with the patient to be placed in a side posture position. The patient's head rests on a padded support that, when tipped, fits the side of the skull and provides maximum support. The specific spinal correction will be set at the proper angle (based on x-ray and neurological testing calculations) allowing for a very slight, but precisely directed force to make the adjustment. There should be no discomfort whatsoever in the adjustment. If the previous analysis has been made accurately, the correction will be made with very little force.....to force a vertebra would be counter to our objective. The spine is a precision machine, and thus needs not be subjected to any unneccesarily forceful manipulations.
All corrections, following a patient rest period on the table, will be re-examined for efficacy.
