SPINAL CORRECTION
Accurate spinal correction requires appropriate patient placement in a left or right side posture position. The patient's head rests on a padded support that, when tipped, fits the side of the skull and provides maximum support. The specific spinal correction will be set at the proper angle (based on anatomical analysis and neurological testing calculations) allowing for a very slight, but precisely directed force to make the adjustment. There should be no discomfort whatsoever in the adjustment. If the analysis has been made accurately, the correction will be made with very little force.....to force a vertebra would be counter to our objective. The spine is a precision machine, and thus, in our opinion, needs not be subjected to any unneccesarily forceful manipulations to create desirable change.
All PNC corrections, following a patient rest period on the table, will be re-examined for efficacy.
